Wear your red socks to dream big, and to celebrate the indomitable kiwi spirit - Friday, July 3, 2015

Red Socks Day: July 3, 2015

Sir Peter Blake liked to wear his red socks for good luck, and during the America's Cup Challenge of 1995 New Zealanders supported the boat by putting on their own red socks.

Twenty years on, The Sir Peter Blake Trust encourages schools, organisations and individuals around New Zealand and around the world to celebrate the memory of a great leader - Sir Peter Blake - by wearing a pair of his red socks on Red Socks Day -  Friday 3 July, 2015.

Official child-size Red Socks and Red Socks Day lapel pins can be purchased using the shopping cart below.

As 2015 is the 20th anniversary of Red Socks a special commemorative edition will be available in adult size. These socks are not available for purchase yet but to secure your pair please email info@sirpeterblaketrust.org.

While these items are made as affordable as possible, any proceeds are used to help the Trust run its youth leadership programmes. Thank you for your support.
