Sir Peter Blake liked to wear his red socks for good luck, and
during the America's Cup Challenge of 1995 New Zealanders supported
the boat by putting on their own red socks.
The Sir Peter Blake Trust encourages schools, organisations and
individuals around New Zealand and around the world to celebrate
the memory of a great leader - Sir Peter Blake - by wearing a pair
of his red socks on Red Socks Day - Friday 29 June
2012.
Official red socks and Red Socks Day lapel pins can be purchased
through The Sir Peter Blake Trust using the shopping cart below.
You can pay by credit card or receive an invoice through the
post.
While these items are made as affordable as possible, any
proceeds are used to help the Trust run its programmes. Thank
you for your support.
