Wear your red socks to celebrate kiwi spirit and great leadership - Friday, July 4, 2014

Red Socks Day

Sir Peter Blake liked to wear his red socks for good luck, and during the America's Cup Challenge of 1995 New Zealanders supported the boat by putting on their own red socks.

The Sir Peter Blake Trust encourages schools, organisations and individuals around New Zealand and around the world to celebrate the memory of a great leader - Sir Peter Blake - by wearing a pair of his red socks on Red Socks Day -  Friday the 4th of July, 2014.

Official Red Socks and Red Socks Day lapel pins can be purchased through The Sir Peter Blake Trust using the shopping cart below. Anyone can pay by credit card, while schools & corporates have the option to receive an invoice along with the sock order.

Due to the popularity of the larger size Red Socks, we do not have any left! We are unlikely to have these back  in ahead of Red Socks Day 2014 - our apologies for this.

While these items are made as affordable as possible, any proceeds are used to help the Trust run its youth leadership programmes. Thank you for your support.
