The Sir Peter Blake Trust strives to honour Sir Peter’s leadership, love for the environment and dedication to young people.

Sponsors, Supporters and the Trust

The Trust has a strong, long-term relationship with our existing sponsors and supporters. Their contributions of funding, time and services-in-kind make it possible for us to continue Sir Peter's legacy. As a charitable organisation we rely on this support and work hard to maximise the benefits for all parties.

Our programmes are becoming more popular, growing and expanding into new areas. We are keen to extend the Trust family and invite potential sponsors to begin a conversation with us about relationships in the future.

Potential for the future

We are keen to align with potential Sponsors and Supporters who share our values and beliefs, and those Sir Peter lived and worked by.

Our work is based around Leadership, Action, Adventure and the Environment. We are looking for long-term relationships with those who are excited about the same things as us and looking for on-going collaboration, not only one-off projects and events.

In the future we anticipate the expansion of the Trust in the following areas:

  • Growing the Care for Our Coast programme to engage more young people with their local environment, especially coastal areas and waterways.
  • Following our 2012 trip to the Kermadec islands, we hope to embark on more expeditions with young New Zealanders. We're excited to be following in Sir Peter's footsteps and inspiring new generations of young people through adventure.
  • We aim to grow all our programmes, including the prestigious Sir Peter Blake Leadership Awards, to reach and inspire more people throughout New Zealand.

We are also open to other opportunities that align with our organisation's vision and our mission to continue Sir Peter's legacy.
