| CARE FOR OUR COAST UPDATE |
We have now celebrated 568 beach clean-ups, involving over
15,000 people collecting 400,000 pieces of rubbish. To get
involved in protecting our coastline this summer, download our clean-up
kit and see how easy it is to participate.
An exciting new teachers' resource has been launched focussing on
Antarctica. Care for our Coast Antarctica encourages
environmental leadership, develops an awareness of the unique Antarctic
environment, and inspires action to safeguard its future. Over 230
teachers have requested it so far. For your free copy, email Hannah.
We are aiming to involve 150 schools in our Care for our Coast
programme 2010. If you know a teacher or school who would like to be
involved, email their details to Hannah so we can send them an information kit.
