Leadership Week highlights the strategic relevance and value that great leadership provides for New Zealand and showcases the work being done to develop our nation’s leadership capability.
Organisations, businesses and schools around the country take part in a range of activities designed to inspire, develop and celebrate great Kiwi leadership.
Leadership Week kicks off with the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Awards on 25th June and culminates with a national Red Socks Day on 2nd July, when New Zealanders are encouraged to ‘wear the socks of a leader’ in memory of a great Kiwi leader and his legacy of leadership in action.
We invite your school or organisation to be part of this national focus and celebration of Kiwi leadership. Activities can take many shapes and forms – see our 2009 timetable of events for inspiration or contact us to discuss ideas or register an event.
Once you have registered your event, it will appear on our 2010 Timetable of Events and we will distribute free copies of Leadership magazine for your participants.

"Having vision is not enough. Change comes through realising the vision and turning it into a reality. It is easy to espouse worthy goals, values and policies; the hard part is implementation."
