CARE FOR OUR COAST - ANTARCTICA

The Sir Peter Blake Trust is proud to announce the launch of our new resource, Care for our Coast – Antarctica.

Care for our Coast – Antarctica is a comprehensive environmental education resource that focuses on Antarctica’s environment, leadership of early explorers and taking environmental action.

This free resource works on co-operative and inquiry learning styles and, whilst it is designed to be used for years 4-8 within the New Zealand curriculum, activities can easily be adapted to suit students working above or below these years.

Care for our Coast – Antarctica encourages leadership in action and, in keeping with Sir Peter Blake’s desire to encourage people to care for our waters, it is closely linked to the Trust’s Care for our Coast coastal clean-up programme.

Email the Sir Peter Blake Trust for your copy and help develop our future environmental leaders.

"Having vision is not enough. Change comes through realising the vision and turning it into a reality. It is easy to espouse worthy goals, values and policies; the hard part is implementation."
