There are a few seals drifting past on ice floes, and others on the shore, that obviously have the same feeling about the day as we do.
Today is Sunday. This means it is a day off (as much as it can be). This means reading, catching up on sleep, writing letters, playing scrabble, looking out of the window at the snow falling softly, making plans, baking bread, chatting, listening to easy music, and maybe watching a film later in the afternoon.
So today, rather than writing much we have decided to send you a montage of photos instead – taken at different times over the past few days
Ollie is preparing lunch in the galley, and the smell is permeating the saloon. The generator is humming quietly in the background and Mark Knopfler’s music is providing appropriate therapy.
I have answered most of my correspondence for the week although there is still an article I have promised to write – tomorrow.
Until tomorrow,
Best wishes from all onboard.
Peter.
